We start your holiday off with complimentary Teas & Coffee, Sugar, free range fresh eggs, organic seasonal home-grown tropical fruits, vegetables and herbs and all you can eat Limes, Passionfruit's & Coconuts (depends what's in season).

Home apartment is all at ground level with three private entrances, and accessible by wheelchair if required. Drive right up to the house on our extra wide driveway.

Enjoy the exclusive use of the BBQ and entertainment deck, Wi-Fi, x2 TV’s, x5 air conditioners, Netflix, board games and laundry.

We offer x4 bedrooms with x3 double beds, trundle beds and mattresses underneath, kids fold out cot, bunk beds with king single, and also have two fold out sofa beds in the lounge that also turn into pretty comfortable double beds. So loads of sleeping spots.

Relax and stay cool in the tropics as all rooms have temperature-controlled air conditioning, insulated ceilings & walls. Rooms contain bedside tables, reading lights, cupboards, wardrobes, fluffy pillows, quality linen, good airflow, beautiful timber and tile floors, bath towels, curtains and lockable doors for privacy. Beach towels also available for beach and reef trips. Large glass dining table for family dinners.

Watch the kids play on the backyard swings while you read or BBQ on the entertainment deck.

Full use of Kitchen facilities which includes Microwave, Gas Stove, Fridge, Kettle Jug, Coffee Pod Machine, Coffee Plunger, Cutlery, Plates, Cups, Pots, Rice Cooker, Toaster & lots more to make your stay comfortable.

Back door opens up to BBQ ing in paradise on our huge timber entertainment deck overlooking the mountain ranges. Happy to share an Australian BBQ and share stories around our fire one night to share experiences and culture.

We strive to be a Sustainable home and environmentally minded with solar power/mains power for energy, permaculture & aquaponics food gardens where we grow our own fresh organic vegetables, chickens for fresh eggs, farm Barramundi and Jade Perch in our Aquaponics system, native bees & fruit trees.

Our home is fully fenced with a big back yard. Kangaroos and Wallabies and exotic birds and butterflies visit us each day from the nearby national park.

We are seasoned Hosts thanks to the great caliber of guests staying with us.

Our guests will also receive a 1 hour exclusive Barramundi Farm tour experience if you would like to see our aquaculture farm in the tablelands (near Mareeba). During your visit you can hook a Barramundi yourself and we can BBQ it up for lunch or dinner at a mutual convenient time? We don't offer this anywhere else- only for you since your staying with us. (Just $20/ adult, $10 /child- all money raised supports our compassion child sponsorship). Located 1 hr 20mins from our home so make a day of it and visit other attractions also in the tablelands. Cheap Camping also available on the farm if needed.

TRANSPORT
We are just 5 mins minutes’ walk to the shopping Centre, 5mins to local pub/ bistro and just 15 mins drive to Cairns CBD and airport. The 121 bus runs regularly to and from Cairns city and departs the shopping Centre every hour. It’s a very safe area in a very quiet street. We can arrange to pick you up/drop you off in the City/ airport (for small fee). There is a network of 10kms of cycle tracks as well that can take you through cane fields, shopping centers, historic railway, parks, Crystal Cascades, and all the way to the airport, foreshore and City. If your using this house as a base to see the area it is right in the middle of everything. Whether you have a hire car or are using public transport it is easy to get to all the attractions.
