Tropicana Hideaway

Summary:
A Lovingly styled apartment with an appreciation of our tropical surroundings and a nod toward the quintessential Australian surfer lifestyle, this freshly renovated apartment will not disappoint.

Conveniently positioned in a quiet complex between the city centre and the airport, you will have everything you need, including a fully stocked kitchen, secure parking, a washing machine and a private courtyard with BBQ.

The Space:
A cozie slice of the tropics, perfect for a couple on a little getaway. The space is simple but functional with some thoughtful touches such as the imported mural headboard from USA, the care that's gone into the styling, and the cozie courtyard with weber BBQ. We hope you enjoy this space as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Guest Access:
You will have private access to the 1 bedroom apartment and your own parking space.

The Neighborhood:
You are conveniently located a few kilometres from the city and the esplanade but if you don't feel like going very far at all, you are a few minutes walk from our favourite cafe in town, Brother Jenkins serving up old time favourites with a funky twist.

Also, 10 minutes walking you have a bottle shop, bakery, cafe and grocer.

Getting Around:
The accomodation is situated less than 3 minutes drive to the heart of the city and 6 minutes from the airport. Cairns central shopping centre and the esplanade are both a 20 minute stroll.

The best way to visit Cairns, in my opinion, is to hire a car. there are so many awesome things to see, just a short drive away. Such as waterfalls, beaches, botanical gardens, the list goes on. At night time, due to the close proximity of the city centre, taxi's are very cheap. Better still, Uber has arrived in Cairns and provide a great service...a trip to the city centre is approximately $8.

Interaction with Guests:
We will meet you with keys to the apartment on arrival then leave you to enjoy your time away. I you do need any help during your stay, then we are not too far away.
