Great Northern Beach house is the perfect beachfront house for a family/group holiday or cosy beachside retreat. Its only 30 steps to the beach, life guard patrolled flags for a swim. Close to golf course, Boating Marina, and Restaurants. This fully renovated beach house is a 4 bedroom timber home. Fully fenced, lockable garage, Verandah beachfront views, Enclosed back patio, Oversized back yard for kids. Parking space. Gateway to the Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef.

Our beach house is intimate and relaxing. With cooling tropical ocean breezes, you can open the house up with double doors and let the fresh air flow through, we also have, fans throughout house. The Bedrooms are all air-conditioned for those balmy nights. Wifi and netflix provided. There is a safe and security alarm. Full function kitchen. Pets are welcome but to be outside only, we have large concrete back patio that can be fully enclosed for their security. Large BBQ provided for your group meals. Yard is fully fenced. Ocean views Veranda with out door lounge and alfresco dining. Strictly no parties. There is a playground and gym equipment along the beach foreshore. Yorkeys beach is one of the longest and widest beaches with lots of sand, great for morning walks. There is a swimming enclosure in patrolled area during stinger season. Dog are allowed on lead or have exercise area southern end of beach. In Distance Great Northern Beach House is 15 minutes from Cairns Airport, 20 mins to Cairns CBD, 45min Drive to the famous Port Douglas, 10 mins drive to Palm Cove.

Guest access
Guest have full access to the property. Bedroom 4 will be locked if not required (under 6 Persons) Great functioning fully equipped kitchen with large fridge and dishwasher, (detergent is provided as everything is dishwasher proof and we'd love for you to keep the kitchen clean and healthy). Laundry has a washer /dryer combo so you can set and forget, to spend more time at the beach! A few Laundry tablets will be provided for those unexpected washing loads. There are many bedding configurations in this home, so please let me know in detail on how you would like the house set up for the most comfortable stay. Bedroom 1 has a superior king bed. Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed. Bedroom 3 has two king singles Bedroom 4 holds two singles or can convert to a king and a double bunk bed. This bedroom only has external access from back patio. Great for older kids or separate family with the King set up. A port a cot can be set up for infants on request. Living Room holds a sofa bed, double size for those extra friends who don't have a bedroom. Please special request this to be made up, as we don't recommend a bed in the intimate living space. A welcome package for you will include, Coffee, Tea, Sugar, Snacks, Small milk in fridge, and cold water. Laundry cupboard will be locked. Please email me on preferred bedding arrangements for couples or singles.

Guest interaction
A code for entry lock and bedroom 4 code(if required) and garage code, will be e-mailed to you prior to your stay. There is and Information booklet for tours, bus pickup and restaurant dinning options provided.

Neighborhood overview
Yorkeys has a small shopping complex which has Convenience store, Butcher, Cafes, Bakery, Hairdresser, Restaurant, Bottle shop, Chemist, Laundromat, Car Hire, and Post office. There is a Fuel station on the road in.

Getting around
Car hire is available and Sunbus service runs hourly to Cairns or Northern beaches. Bus stop is 20metres away

Other things to note
If your in for an active holiday, Yorkeys beach is a famous kitesurfing destination. Also close to Smithfield's world class mountain bike trails. Yorkeys Half moon bay Marina has restaurant, gaming and entertainment along with boat charters. Paddle board and kitesurfing lessons available down the beach.




Additional rules

We love animals and we understand it is hard to find accommodation with pets. So for us to provide the option of pets welcome, we have a few strict policies and we hope everyone will abide, as to keep this option available.

Pet are to be outside or on rear patio only. Not inside, or on Front Verandah. No matter how small. Please consider our furniture and future tenants with allergies. No Cats inside EVER! Please keep your animals barking under control at all times. You with forfeit security deposit if we have animal damage.
Pick up after your pet. For droppings, use plastic bags provided in bottom drawer, to place in outside green bin. Please keep dog on lead at the beach until you have reached dog exercise area. Animal control management patrol the area.

ON EXIT
Clean BBQ after every use. All seafood scraps are recommended to be bagged and placed in council bin across the road on the foreshore as it is cleaned daily, to prevent any smell and make your stay more enjoyable.

PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS A NON-SMOKING HOUSE AND NO PARTIES. The guest information booklet is on the coffee table or lounge for your perusal. We ask that you take a moment to read through it & familiarize yourself with our house & check out procedures. ON EXIT- For check out day, check out time is 10am. The cleaners have requested for your help - Please help minimize their risk with the current pandemic by putting taking your linen hire off the beds (white sheets / pillowcases / towels / hand towels and bathmats) and put it all inside the laundry. Please leave the pillow protectors / mattress protectors / throw blankets and coverlets on the beds. Thanks
If you have used any of the beach towels, please put those in laundry also.

Please put all your dishes in the dishwasher and start the cycle. And leave Kitchen in a respectful manner.
Remove all your rubbish from the house, toilet bins included and put them in the large red outdoor bin.
