A Touch of Bali is a Rainforest Retreat with luxury inclusions. The alfresco and pool entertaining area is set under a romantic rainforest canopy within stunning tropical gardens. Whilst only being 10 mins to the centre of Cairns and 10 mins to the Beaches this gorgeous open plan home is situated in the hills of freshwater, surrounded by rainforest, overlooking cane fields and the beaches. If you’re after a relaxing place just to stop or a place to base all your activities from this is it. A Touch of Bali is only 15mins drive from town, 25mins drive to Palm Cove and 45mins to Port Douglas.

The house offers sleeping for up to 8 with 1 king bed in the lovely master with a stunning new outdoor/indoor Bali ensuite bathroom. A queen in the first room and 2 singles in the other, with a 4th queen bedroom downstairs. All bedrooms have air conditioning. The house also offers plenty of room for all. There is a TV room at the front of the house enclosed by shutters to let the breeze through which follows through to a sitting room and dining room. Once you have made it to the open plan kitchen you have reached the best part of the house. The kitchen opens up onto the outdoor lounge under the trees and overlooks the resort style pool area. The stunning views over the Pacific Ocean and all the way to Green Island are a treat. Rarely is it that you don't have a breeze in this part of the property.

Tropical living is all based outside so out from the kitchen there is the lounge, dining and pool area. There is also an outdoor kitchen with built in BBQ. A Touch of Bali has all the features of tropical resort style living and is designed for this lifestyle making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your holiday. The open kitchen has all you need to cook with Miele appliances and a pod coffee machine for the perfect cup of coffee lying back on the daybed.

If your using this house as a base to see the area it is right in the middle of everything. Whether you have a hire car or are using public transport it is easy to get to all the attractions. At the bottom of the hill there is a bus stop where public transport goes in and out of town every hour. Also 5 mins drive from the house is one of the most popular train stations for the historic Kuranda Train. Kuranda is well worth a visit and you can either drive, take the train or do the Skyrail. The Skyrail is a gondola trip over the rainforest that takes you from the bottom of the range to the top where you can check out all the great things to see in Kuranda. Of course there are all of the tours going out to reef and up to the Daintree which are also on offer in town. You can easily book these tours or go for a drive yourself up to the Daintree and see all the attraction on the way up. It is a lovely drive and you can always stop in at Port Douglas on your way up or back.

However if you are using the house simply as an escape from the busy life, A Touch of Bali is perfect. There are plenty of areas to relax and simply read a book. The pool is a beautiful spot to lie about and do nothing.The Bali Hut with our extra large carved daybed is ideal for a book, a sleep or maybe a glass of wine. This area is covered with trees it stays cool and provides a shaded oasis.
